Flight Review
Definition
A review required by FAR 61.56 every 24 calendar months to maintain pilot-in-command privileges. Consists of at least 1 hour of ground and 1 hour of flight training with a CFI.
Why It Matters
Flight reviews are often overlooked by rental pilots. A scheduling system that tracks flight review currency can prevent a pilot from booking a solo or rental flight with an expired review.
