About
Built on the flight line, not in a boardroom.
SQWKR is built with the kind of domain knowledge you only get from standing on the ramp, managing a dispatch board, and dealing with a grounding squawk at 7 AM.

I'm a certified flight instructor and full-stack software engineer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. I've given preflight briefings, managed flight schedules, signed logbooks, and dealt with every operational headache that comes with running flights day to day.
I started building SQWKR because I saw an opportunity to bring modern product thinking to flight school operations. The scheduling and dispatch experience should match the quality of tooling that every other industry takes for granted — precise, integrated, and designed around how the work actually gets done.
SQWKR is software with real domain knowledge built into the architecture. Database-level conflict prevention. Tach-based maintenance tracking. Role-aware dispatch. Every feature comes from operational experience, not guesswork.
Why “SQWKR”?
In aviation, a squawk is how you report a problem, identify on radar, and communicate status. It's the universal signal that something needs attention.
SQWKR is built on that idea — surface problems before they ground you, track status in real time, communicate clearly across your team. The compressed spelling signals modern tooling without being cute about it.
